If I could suggest one class that every incoming college student should take it would be a class such as this one- Race and Discrimination in America. CMU: 1/4
They say college is the best years of your life, and I 100% agree. I am just finishing up my freshman year at Central Michigan University. It is so hard to believe that a whole school year has already gone by so quickly, I am SO not ready to leave. The impact that the people I have met at Central have had on my life in the past 9 months is unlike any other friendships I have made before and I feel so blessed to be able to return here, my second home, at the end of summer. Moving out and living on my own has taught me so many valuable life lessons; here are the most important things I have learned in the last 32 weeks at CMU. Continue reading “CMU: 1/4”
WELCOME TO THE FAM LIL MENTEE
It’s hard to believe that it has already been a year since my mentor Sadie showed up at my high school on May 2, 2017 with a big sign welcoming me to our LAS family and to CMU. Freshman year has passed in the blink of an eye but I cannot wait to have a mentee of my own to bond with over this next year.

Alternative Breaks: A program where students are able to sign up for an issue, and then serve across the nation for a weekend or a week of their winter, spring, or summer breaks to help .
