In 1974, Scott McNeal and a few friends gathered in his parent’s driveway in Lowell, MI, threw in a couple dollars for the winning team, and kicked off the basketball tournament they had been planning. Little did they know that this driveway tournament would continue to grow year by year until there were hundreds of teams playing up and down their street. Fast forward 46 years and we are hosting Gus Macker: Green Eggs and Slams National Basketball Tournament at Central Michigan University. Continue reading “Gus Macker 2019: Green Eggs and Slams”

Moving out and living on my own has taught me so many valuable life lessons; here are the most important things I have learned in the last 32 weeks at CMU. Continue reading “CMU: 1/4”
